Dear Nathan, "Cody" is about 2-1/2 years old now and has grown into a very handsome dog! We are extremely excited to say that he is doing incredibly well! His color is so rich and vibrant! Hi Nathan, just a short update regarding Tess. She is doing very well and has a great personality. We are so pleased with the way you raised the puppies. Our vet said that Tess is a beautiful girl and very healthy. She is very friendly and outgoing and learning to do some basic tricks. The crate has worked out well too. It is only used at night so that the house isn't chewed up in the morning.

We bought two labs from Dunwood Labs and are completely satisfied. They are very high quality dogs we would recommend getting a lab from Dunwood. We got a yellow lab about 5 years ago and have been so pleased that we went back last July and got another one.

He is just the sweetest thing you can imagine. He's smart and a really quick learner (much smarter than the average pup), funny, obedient, loving, sweet-natured, and a truly excellent family dog. All he wants in life is to be near us. One of the funniest things he does is - if you get down on the ground near him, he'll try to hug you with a paw (it's TOO cute). He listens well (most of the time - he's acting a little rambunctious this morning -- but he's still funny); he's a true retriever - Fred's having a great time as Reilly gets golf balls for him; he walks well at heel and he's a good alarm, too. Just let a squirrel walk anywhere near our house and he'll start into barking. But he listens well -- he stops when we tell him all is OK. Although we've loved both our other labs and we miss them always, we figure Reilly may well turn out to be our "best lab" -- He's really terrific and we thank you.

Nathan, if I started to tell you how much our family loves Cooper i'd be here all night! Take a look at a few pics. Hey Nathan…just wanted to check in with you and let you know how Ali is making out. She is a great puppy and she is growing like a weed. She is absolutely beautiful and I get tons of compliments on her. I always tell everyone she came from you and direct them to your website.
She is in her third week of puppy classes at Petsmart. She is by far the smartest in the class…that came straight from the trainer. She is learning very quickly, and the commands she has learned she does by voice or by hand signals. She absolutely loves all the other dogs.
She is doing great in the house. Potty training was a breeze. So far, she hasn't chewed up anything in the house. Her only down fall is she likes to get up at 5:30 in the morning…I figure she gets that from her start on the farm…ha ha! Kristin

I hope all is well with you and your family. I just wanted to give you a brief update on Murphy. Murphy graduated Level 2 obedience this past Monday night, in addition to passing his Canine Good Citizen test. Our next goal is to get him certified as a Pet Therapy Dog. Attached is a picture that the instructor took during our graduation ceremony.
Murphy is a wonderful dog and we are very proud to have him as part of our family. I am sure you are proud also as you have done a great job in breeding for both looks and temperament. Even though Murphy is our 4th lab, he is the one that most closely fits the breed standard. The other 3 were from field lines, they were/are taller and have a slight wave in their coat. Sue

Hi Nathan, I just wanted to keep you updated on Murphy's accomplishments. On Saturday, April 11th, Murphy passed his Therapy Dog test. He is now a registered therapy dog through Bright and Beautiful out of Morris Plains, NJ. We are continuing our obedience training and Murphy seems to really enjoy going to class. Hi Nathan, Christina and I wanted to provide you with an update on Oliver. He is about to graduate from puppy kindergarten this Tuesday! He is extremely smart. He is able to sit, lay down, come, stay, crawl, give paw, give high five, and role over. He is very well behaved and enjoys our long walks, runs and trips to the park. Hi Nathan, Just wanted to give you an update and let you know how great "Tucker" is doing. Tucker never leaves my side and is more than Christine and I could ever ask for. We have enrolled him into puppy kindergarten and we have our second class this Thursday. He has already mastered "sit" and "down." To top it off, Tucker is the most outgoing puppy in the entire class (I'm not biased, the teacher said so herself!). Everywhere we go people compliment his wonderful demeanor and cute looks, he truly catches everyone's attention. Hi Nathan - Coda has adjusted well and is a very special part of our family! She is getting big! Coda is a very good puppy and very smart! She learned sit and down in two days. When she wants water she brings her water dish to the refrigerator sits and looks at you. Hershey and Coda love to play. Coda has a very keen nose and loves to dig and has taught Hershey to dig also. I think she is digging for the voles. She will be a very good hunting dog. Do you have any suggestions how to stop them from digging? I've attached several pictures. Hi Nathan, Just wanted to give you an update on Ruger since he is a year old now. He is a wonderful dog, extremely laidback and loves people. Ruger weighs about 90lbs and when standing his back reaches 25 inches high. He loves to play but prefers to lay outside chewing on sticks. He enjoys swimming but does not like the deep water very much. Jason plays "find the bird" everyday with Ruger. He takes a dummy pheasant that actually has pheasant scent on it and hides it in the woods. We are hoping soon to actually give him a shot at pheasant hunting. We absolutely love Ruger! I love Morgan. What a great puppy. Lovable, smart and a great temperment. Max and Morgan bonded immediately when I brought him home yesterday. Max has taught him how to play tug of war with a tug of war toy and Morgan played very well today holding his own with Max.
He is getting use to his crate. I bought a life size lab stuffed animal which I put in his crate. Last night and during the day he snuggles close to the stuffed animal.
He is going to the bathroom outside. No accidents so far. Rose

Hi Nathan, I was checking out your new website, and wanted to let you know how "Brody" is doing. He is a male black lab puppy out of Tracy and Dakota that we got from you last October. Nathan, We brought "Buster" home on Nov 30, 2006. He was the last black lab of his litter. We love him so much. He is so much fun, and such a great puppy. Murphy is a wonderful dog and we are very proud to have him as part of our family. I am sure you are proud also as you have done a great job in breeding for both looks and temperament. Even though Murphy is our 4th lab, he is the one that most closely fits the breed standard. The other 3 were from field lines, they were/are taller and have a slight wave in their coat. Sue

Hi Nathan, I just wanted to keep you updated on Murphy's accomplishments. On Saturday, April 11th, Murphy passed his Therapy Dog test. He is now a registered therapy dog through Bright and Beautiful out of Morris Plains, NJ. We are continuing our obedience training and Murphy seems to really enjoy going to class. Hey Nathan, I just wanted to share some picks of Bella and Callisto. Bella will be 5 months old on the 7th, time flies when you are happy. John and I are very happy, Bella is doing well. She is very smart, and does not mind telling you when she wants something. Her and Cally enjoy each other's company and are really comical at times and sweet at others like in the pic of them napping together. Cally is teaching her the ropes and she is catching on quick. Hi Nathan, Christina and I wanted to provide you with an update on Oliver. He is about to graduate from puppy kindergarten this Tuesday! He is extremely smart. He is able to sit, lay down, come, stay, crawl, give paw, give high five, and role over. He is very well behaved and enjoys our long walks, runs and trips to the park. We can't wait to take him swimming in the spring. Every where we go people stop us because Oliver is so cute and they have to say hello. I can't help but think that we have the cutest puppy ever!! Hi Nathan, Just wanted to give you an update and let you know how great "Tucker" is doing. Tucker never leaves my side and is more than Christine and I could ever ask for. We have enrolled him into puppy kindergarten and we have our second class this Thursday. He has already mastered "sit" and "down." To top it off, Tucker is the most outgoing puppy in the entire class (I'm not biased, the teacher said so herself!). Everywhere we go people compliment his wonderful demeanor and cute looks, he truly catches everyone's attention. Hi Nathan - Coda has adjusted well and is a very special part of our family! She is getting big! Coda is a very good puppy and very smart! She learned sit and down in two days. When she wants water she brings her water dish to the refrigerator sits and looks at you. Hershey and Coda love to play. Coda has a very keen nose and loves to dig and has taught Hershey to dig also. I think she is digging for the voles. She will be a very good hunting dog. Do you have any suggestions how to stop them from digging? I've attached several pictures. Hi Nathan, It was so nice meeting you on September 27th. Our puppy is doing great! We named him Calabash. We call him Cal for short. He knows his name and knows how to sit before we feed him. Hi Nathan, Just wanted to give you an update on Ruger since he is a year old now. He is a wonderful dog, extremely laidback and loves people. Ruger weighs about 90lbs and when standing his back reaches 25 inches high. He loves to play but prefers to lay outside chewing on sticks. He enjoys swimming but does not like the deep water very much. Jason plays "find the bird" everyday with Ruger. He takes a dummy pheasant that actually has pheasant scent on it and hides it in the woods. We are hoping soon to actually give him a shot at pheasant hunting. We absolutely love Ruger! I love Morgan. What a great puppy. Lovable, smart and a great temperment. Max and Morgan bonded immediately when I brought him home yesterday. Max has taught him how to play tug of war with a tug of war toy and Morgan played very well today holding his own with Max.
He is getting use to his crate. I bought a life size lab stuffed animal which I put in his crate. Last night and during the day he snuggles close to the stuffed animal.
He is going to the bathroom outside. No accidents so far. Rose

Hi Nathan, I was checking out your new website, and wanted to let you know how "Brody" is doing. He is a male black lab puppy out of Tracy and Dakota that we got from you last October. He's been a wonderful, good-natured puppy. He's been great with other dogs, animals, and our young children. Besides liking to chew a lot, we really have no problems or concerns with him. Nathan, We brought "Buster" home on Nov 30, 2006. He was the last black lab of his litter. We love him so much. He is so much fun, and such a great puppy.
